Getting Started

Where can I read (or write) reviews of previous MarketerHire experiences?

At this time, you can find public reviews on profiles like TrustPilot or Google

How do I get started?

To hire marketing talent from our network, please visit our Expert Marketer Hire form

To hire assistant talent from our network, please visit our Expert Assistant Hire form

Here you can answer initial questions about what you’re looking for, along with providing contact information. 

At the end of the form, depending on your budget, you will be directed to either a booking link to meet with one of our Growth Managers or Marketers-in-Residence, who will help you with the process, or you will be redirected to submit an additional job brief, and we will follow up with you afterwards.

Do you offer any trials or guarantees?

Yes, for all engagements, we offer a no-risk two-week trial that is fully refundable. You will be billed at project kick-off, and during the initial 2 weeks, if it doesn’t work out with the initial individual, for whatever reason, we will rematch you with another candidate to see if you would like to proceed.  

This is included in the Service Contract that you sign with us at the beginning of your engagement.

What does pre-vetted mean?

We maintain hundreds of thousands of data points on all of our freelancers, from their work experience, to the skills they have, the tools they use, the audience they have engaged with, and more. All of this data is then organized in such a way that gives MarketerHire an immense advantage in determining the size and shape of talent concentrations in various industries, with specific skills and experiences, etc. This is the foundation for our vetting process. 

Then we perform in-depth skill reviews on each vetted individual to assess their level of expertise and knowledge of best practices and the latest technologies and techniques. 

Additionally, we also conduct a video interview to assess communication skills, critical thinking, and professionalism. 

Depending on the role and candidate, we will occasionally assign test projects as the final step in the application process. Test projects provide real-world scenarios for candidates to demonstrate their competence, thoroughness, professionalism, and integrity over what is typically 1-3 weeks. 

And last but not least, we check-in with active talent regularly to ensure quality service.

Why do I have to book an appointment?

At this time, we require that customers book an appointment with our Growth Marketers or Marketers-in-Residence so that we can help you crystalize your needs and align them with your budget and project timeframe.

Can I hire directly from your talent network for a full-time position?

Yes! While not everyone in our talent network is actively looking for full-time positions, we have placed dozens of individuals in full-time roles.

This can happen both right out the gate, as well as part of a buyout process during an part-time engagement.

Our network is made up of marketers with a diverse array of titles, backgrounds, and experiences, and so we have defined a core group of 16 roles to choose from to make the matching process easier.

Can I find talent that will work from our office?

Most of our engagements are remote, but in some cases, we’ve helped clients hire local freelancers. If this is a requirement, we can work with you to try to find a freelancer in your local market.

Where is your talent from?

Our talent network spans 18 different countries - United States, Canada, Denmark, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Singapore, France, New Zealand, United Arab Emeritas, Australia, Romania, Netherlands, India, Hungary, Austria, Finland, and Philippines

Working With Us

Is there a dashboard to view my active or past engagements, account settings, invoices and/payments?

Not yet! We are actively building a self-service option so that you may browse our pre-vetted talent in our network.

What happens if my marketing strategy changes?

If your marketing strategy changes during your engagement, you have a few options. You can increase hours, decrease hours, seek a replacement for your existing marketer, seek an additional resource, or cancel altogether. 

Your Account Manager is there to help you with any of the above scenarios. Simply reach out to them to begin the process.

How will I communicate with my freelancer?

Communicate with them however you like! There are no rules or restrictions when it comes to communicating.

Will my freelancer be dedicated and what hours will they work?

It depends on the role that you have hired. 

If you hire one of our Expert Assistants: yes, your Expert Assistant will be dedicated to you and your needs. They work 40 hours per week in your preferred time zone.

If you hire one of our Expert Marketers: it is up to the engagement level, your budget, and the availability of the talent. You may specifically request a dedicated resource so long as your engagement level requires full-time attention.

What is MarketerHire's pricing model?

Our experts set their own rates based on a number of factors, including marketing specialty, years of experience, location, and more. While all marketers are highly-vetted through our multi-part vetting system, typically more specialized needs mean higher rates.

While rates may vary, general pricing falls into the following ranges:

- 10 hours/week: $3,000-$6,000/month

- 20 hours/week: $5,500-$11,000/month

- 40 hours/week: $9,000-$20,000/month

Note: There are no placement fees, termination fees, or long-term contracts.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! We have a generous referral program. Join our referral program and earn $2,500 cash paid upfront for every new customer that you refer

Note: We use Partnerstack, a software provider for our referral program. It provides tools and resources you need to promote MarketerHire and get paid for your referrals.

How often do I get billed and what payment methods can I use?

We invoice clients monthly and clients can review charges before they get processed. We currently accept all major credit cards and ACH. We also can integrate with Gusto and other HR and payroll software. Just ask, and we’ll get you set up.
