Agency founders struggle to scale time and capacity
Storybook Marketing, a boutique performance marketing agency serving clients such as Loom and Sendoso, began to feel growing pains as it expanded its operations while striving to maintain the standard of services clients had come to know them for.
Co-founders, Graceanne MacDonald and Liam Moroney, had traditionally operated as a lean team, tapping into their years of industry expertise to build robust marketing strategies for their clients, and clients often relied on them to execute those strategies. Being responsible for both aspects of their client’s programs, strategy, and execution, left the founders stretched thin, holding them back from focusing on where they were best suited: the strategy.
Liam says, “As we looked to take our agency to the next phase of growth, we needed to, first and foremost, get the executional work off our plates so we could focus on securing more client work and projects.”
