We have contracts in place with our data processors, which are designed to help safegaurd your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organization apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct.

We may disclose and exchange information with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Additionally, we may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements, to respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf, and to show that we treated you fairly). Different retention periods apply for different types of personal information.

For regulatory compliance purposes, we will keep the categories of personal information identified in the Section titled “WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT”, above, for a maximum of 7 years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. We endeavor to protect the personal information we receive, gather and store, by such means as password protection, firewalls and other means. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to access it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We also require that third party service providers acting on our behalf or with whom we share your information also provide appropriate security measures in accordance with industry standards. 9. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and promptly delete such data from our records. 10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

11. WHERE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS HELD. 

Information may be held at our offices and those of our third party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents as described above (see above: “Who Will Your Information Be Shared With?”).

Some of these third parties may be based outside the European Economic Area. For more information, including on how we safeguard your personal information when this occurs, see below: “Transferring Your Personal Information Out of the EEA”.

12. TRANSFERRING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT OF THE EEA. 

To deliver Services to you, it is sometimes necessary for us to share your personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA), e.g.:

• With our offices outside the EEA;

• With your and our service providers located outside the EEA;

• If you are based outside the EEA; or

• Where there is an international dimension to the services we are providing to you.

These transfers are subject to special rules under European and UK data protection law.

These non-EEA countries do not have the same data protection laws as the United Kingdom and EEA. MarketerHire is headquartered in the United States and utilizes service providers both in the United States and throughout the world. As such, MarketerHire and our service providers may transfer your personal information to, or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. 

Where the laws of your country allow you to do so, by using the Website or the Services, you consent and authorize MarketerHire to transfer, store, and use all such information in the United States of America and any other country where we operate which may not offer an equivalent level of protection to that required in the country where you reside and to the processing of that information by us on its servers located in the United States of America as described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not want your personal information transferred to the United States of America and any other country where we operate, please do not submit any information to us or use our Services.

13. CANADA’S PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION AND ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS ACT
